Web Server
Our servers run NGINX, the fastest, most stable web server type, and NGINX does not support .htaccess. Members accustomed to using .htaccess to enable or disable functionality needn’t worry because our servers automatically handle all the functions typically associated with it. For more information on htaccess, please view the Hosting Configuration article.
Database
The databases of all sites hosted by NonprofitPress / MWP Cloud run on MariaDB based on MySQL 8 (default). A compatible version of MariaDB for MySQL 7 is available upon request, but not recommended.
PHP
From your hosting control panel (under Hosting > Tools) you can change your PHP version. Supported versions of PHP include 8.2, 8.3, and 8.4
Some existing sites may have the option to run PHP 8.1, however we recommend upgrading as soon as you are able. Please contact support if you would like assistance with this.

* The xmlrpc extension is disabled when the “Disable XML-RPC” option is enabled in your hosting control panel. If required by one of your plugins or a third-party services, deactivate the setting and PHP will be reloaded with the xmlrpc extension enabled.
