Managed Cloud Domains

Customers of Smashstar Media, especially those who subscribe to more than one of our services, receive complimentary access to our "Managed Cloud" Portal. This is a unified portal that allows organization leaders to quickly and easily manage their cloud services -- even those not managed by Smashstar Media

Customers using our Managed Cloud Portal may have domains registered there instead of through MWP Cloud. This has multiple benefits:

• Slightly discounted registration fee
• Unified management and billing
• Org-wide access to DNS (read only)
• Delegated (RBAC) access to edit DNS
• Use across multiple products

The "Cloud DNS Manager" or DNS Manager is our in-house domain management and DNS record editor within our portal. This is available to all Managed Cloud users/organizations as of August 1, 2025.

Currently-supported DNS registrars include:

• Cloudflare (preferred)
• MWP Cloud Domains
• Google Domains (legacy)

Managed Cloud domains are not yet integrated with MWP Cloud.

Domains registered through Managed Cloud Portal or through your account manager will not appear in MWP Cloud or My NonprofitPress Cloud hosting control panels under the domains dashboard.

If connected to a site, your domain will still be listing under the appropriate site's hosting control panel in Hosting > Domains -- these are the domains configured to receive traffic on your hosting server. This is the case for all domains connected to a site, and allows that site to receive traffic via your configured domains.
